Posting an internship

Internships provide valuable opportunities for students (freshmen through seniors) to test out career options and/or to gain work experience in their chosen field. An internship is defined as any carefully monitored work or service experience in which an individual has intentional learning goals and reflects actively on what he or she is learning throughout the experience. These learning goals may include Academic Learning, Career Development, Skill Development, and Personal Development. Academic credit (typically 1-3 hours) may be available for an internship depending on the student's department at UNC Asheville.

Determine if your position qualifies as a structured Internship Opportunity.
